NOVA signs historic MOU with Korean Victim Organization

      In an international demonstration of mutual commitment to the needs of crime victims, the National Organization for Victim Assistance (NOVA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Korean Crime Victim Support Association (KCVA). The ceremony was held in Seoul, Korea, on November 15, 2010, on the first day of festivities during the third annual Korean Crime Victims Rights Week.

      Pictured with Dr. Will Marling, Executive Director of NOVA is Mr. Yong woo Lee who is the Chairman of the KCVA and the Korean Crime Victim Support Center, Seoul, Korea. The KCVA is a creative crime victim support model that uses centers all over the country to provide services to victims of crime. Mr. Lee&si;s varied responsibilities beyond leadership of KCVA include serving as Chief Executive Officer of Pankyo Company, Ltd., and Panoffice Company, Ltd. He is also the Chairman of International Rotary Club 3640 and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Gimpo City, Korea.
